Business Skills: Entrepreneurship
Course Objective
The purpose of the skills program is to provide learners with basic business skills to set up his/her own business, or gain sufficient knowledge of business principles.
Target Audience
All employees undergoing portable skills training. Business Skills Training to supplement such portable skills training.
Duration
2 Days Full Time / or 5 Days ( 3 Hours per Day)

Minimum of 10 / Maximum of 20
Pre-requisites
Learners should have acquired the numeracy and literacy competencies of NQF Level 2 in the Further Education and Training (FET) Band, prior to embarking on learning towards this skills program. Must have his/her portable skills training or busy with such training

Portfolio of Evidence
Formative assessment: Evidence of performance will be collected continuously as Learners progress and will be considered in the final determination of the learners understanding of business principles.
Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: Understand basic principles of business; understand cost/revenue/consumables; understand the process of marketing/selling; understand how to create a balance sheet.
