Building Skills: Plastering
Course Objective
This skills program has been developed to assist with standardization across the building industry. This will allow persons to register as a construction plasterer and lay a foundation for future career advancement across similar trades and to supervisory and management qualifications within the sector.
Target Audience
The range of typical learners include persons involved in the application of plaster and screed to walls, columns, reveals and sills, ceilings and beams, to construct in-situ mouldings, and attach prefabricated plaster units.

Pre-requisites
Learners should have acquired the competencies of NQF Level 2 in the Further Education and Training (FET) Band, especially numeracy and literacy competencies, prior to embarking on learning towards this skills program.

Portfolio of Evidence
Formative assessment: Evidence of performance will be collected continuously as Learners progress and will be considered in the final determination of the learners capabilities.
